Wordless Wednesday: Let Sleeping Alligators Lie

Here is one of the highlights of our visit to the Wakodahatchee Wetlands on Monday afternoon. I suggested to hubby that as Mr. A seemed to be having a siesta, he could safely climb over the wooden fence to get a real closeup, but he didn’t think this was a great idea. What a spoilsport!

      • I was thinking of him slipping through it. He looks pretty big, but i’ve seen stranger things. Our neighbor’s dog CLIMBS their fence, then squeezes through a hole in the wire mesh that is half his size. It takes him such a short amount of time it’s almost like he is walking through it! 🙂

  1. Well, Mr. A is quite big. Your husband chose well and did not make you a widow. mr. A. Can move quite fast an can clear a room with that tail. I am glad your day ended on a good note. I will be back to visit. Hugs, Barbara

  2. Wow the alligator looks so contented basking in the sun…..I swear that’s a big fat grin on his face….but I think he could move fast in an instant if there was something tempting close by!
