Love is for the birds!

Yesterday, the day before Valentine’s, hubby and I went on an open-air tram ride around the Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge. I was delighted to see that love was in the air, as this pair of Red-Shouldered Hawks sat together on a branch. You can almost hear him asking her, “Please will you be my Valentine?”

he he he … These are your eyes of love!

  2. Great title, too! You could make a living just writing the wonderful titles that you write! πŸ™‚ Well, that’s not totally true. They wouldn’t be so perfect without the great content you pack into them! πŸ™‚

  3. Happy Valentine’s Day to you and hubby, Sylvia.Great shot of those loving hawks. Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge sounds like a good little side trip for Ron & me. Thanks for sharing. πŸ™‚

    • Thanks so much, Lynne. Yes, the tram ride is really worth doing. It’s free, but you do have to book in advance, as it only holds 6 people. The Wakodahatchee Wetlands, just down the road, is the best for bird viewing, and you get a nice long walk there.

  4. Bird pics are lovely for Val Day. So much better than boring desserts. Aren’t they gorgeous. Love raptors.

We woke up and sang the happy valentine song, and soon he will be home and we will do all those things you wish us all. Hope you are having a lovely day too. I like Val Day.
