Yesterday, the day before Valentine’s, hubby and I went on an open-air tram ride around the Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge. I was delighted to see that love was in the air, as this pair of Red-Shouldered Hawks sat together on a branch. You can almost hear him asking her, “Please will you be my Valentine?”
Wishing you all lots of love, caring and sharing, today and every day.

Happy Valentine’s Day to you and hubby, Sylvia.Great shot of those loving hawks. Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge sounds like a good little side trip for Ron & me. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Thanks so much, Lynne. Yes, the tram ride is really worth doing. It’s free, but you do have to book in advance, as it only holds 6 people. The Wakodahatchee Wetlands, just down the road, is the best for bird viewing, and you get a nice long walk there.
To see hawks like that, in all their majestic selves so peaceful is quite something isn’t it 🙂
Yes, it was really special, Andy. 🙂
You lucky, lucky fish!
Cor, what a great capture. Très impressive.
Telephoto lens?
Thanks, Ark. Nothing fancy, just the zoom on my medium-priced Nikon P510.
Lovely picture. Happy Valentine’s Day. 🙂
