Following on from my post yesterday, here are a couple of lifeguards as requested by Gilly of ‘Lucid Gypsy‘. I’m afraid it’s not really Baywatch stuff, and David Hasselhoff wasn’t around at the time. I spotted these two, some time ago at the Bronze Beach Lifeguard Tower. It was a Sunday afternoon, and one of them looked to be having a snooze. Hopefully they take it in turns to keep watch, and don’t both nap at the same time.

That’s what I first notice, too, that the guy is sleeping…perhaps just some power nap before he makes that run-ala-davidhassellholf. 🙂

Most of our beaches never see a lifeguard! What’s up with that, and this is CA! Even an ugly DH would be better than no DH! 🙂 Fun post, enjoy your swim, and feel safe! 🙂

I hope they build the new lifeguard tower at the main beach quicker than the 2 years it took to complete this one 🙂

I’m always hesitant to take a photo of real people. I guess I feel they might come after me and grab my camera to destroy it. Too many paparazzi incidents on t.v. : )
However, this guy was snoozing so I think I might have attempted it too.

I wouldn’t be overly concerned as long as one of them is awake. It might also depend a lot on just how many folks are out there in the water. If there’s not too many, it could get mighty boring to watch. I’m pretty sure I’d be bored out of my skull just staring at the water for hours on end without any action.
Action is something I’m sure they don’t want, especially on a lazy Sunday morning. 🙂
