Wordless Wednesday: If you’ve got it, flaunt it – King of Bling

We saw a huge number of flashy sports cars in Knightsbridge, London, but this gold chrome Ferrari 458 Spider, really won first prize in the bling stakes. I chased it down the road, until it stopped at the next set of traffic lights, so I could get a pic.

  1. hahaha … that is hysterical. I could see people wondering why you were running. I hope the driver didn’t give you a bad look. It is a beautiful car but a little much for me.
Were the windows tinted? It’s hard to tell. I wonder if a star was driving it.
This post brings up a great deal of questions. πŸ˜€

  2. Yes this is an area for those cars… Ferrari… Lamborghini… just down the road in South Kensington is the Lambo Sales room where I saw a bargain last time for only Β£202 000. And it was a frog green Lambo too! πŸ™‚

  3. i think they call it “car wrapping”.. instead of using paint, a film like material with your choice of color will be installed or wrapped to your car.. if you got tired of it the material could be removed like a sticker.

  4. I have seen one or two of these. Apparently the young men who own these cars bring them over to London from their Middle Eastern homes for a couple of months just to show them off. They spend the summer driving them round the area, and in the evenings, when the roads are a little quieter, they drive them at speed.

  5. Well done for getting your picture Sylvia. I guess if you can affored the Ferrari you can afford someone to polish it! Wouldn’t be my taste though. Something a little more understated would suit much better, a different colour perhaps!. πŸ™‚
