My eldest granddaughter really has something to smile about, after having her braces removed yesterday. She’s had to be so patient for two long years, but it really paid off.

Beautiful girl …. and what a beauiful smile. I never had to wear brace but I can image what a relief it’s to be free from hem. Congratulations and well done to her.
congrats – and remind her to be be diligent about hat retainer – but I am sure she will! and I agree with your other reader – amazing what dentists can do these days and whew, so glad.
even though when my son had braces – every time he smiled I saw little dollar signs on every rubber band. ha jk….
she is beautiful. i remember the joy on my youngest daughters face when hers was removed. she continues to have a very beautiful smile many years later.
she’s A beauty like her super-granny… ❤ 😉 btw, our 2 "old babies"(adults for awhile!) did wear braces during their adolescence and they have a perfect set of teeth!
Both of my children refused to have braces, but they regret it now they’re grown up, so well done to your granddaughter. Her perseverance for two years will pay dividends in the future, as she’ll be spared all the difficulties that go with overcrowded and crooked teeth. She looks great 🙂
Beautiful smile Beautiful girl.
I wore braces so many years ago. Back then it was not so cool. 😦
Today it is rather common and nobody makes fun of you.

Thanks, Sarah. Braces these days aren’t what they used to be. Hers was a pretty pink one with tiny diamantes. It really did the trick. 🙂
What a gorgeous result!
Yes, it was definitely worth it. Her brother still has to wait another year or so. 😦

Thanks so much. I don’t think she minded wearing the braces. It was just a small one on her top teeth, and pretty pink with a bit of bling. 🙂
Worth the trauma.
Absolutely. 🙂
Yes! Good thing! Now she can kiss a boy with braces without getting attached!
Hahaha. Trust you to come up with that one. 🙂
Oh wow! It’s amazing what dentists can do these days! That smile is definitely worth it.
Yes, our SA orthodontists do take a lot of beating. (Not literally) 🙂
hehe – it all makes the tooth fairy very unhappy!!! less teeth for her – not really sure what she does with all those teeth.
