Sunday Stills: Fall Foliage in NJ

It was such a treat to see all the beautiful fall colours of the leaves in New Jersey. We don’t get such luxury down in Florida. I didn’t have time to go out taking photos, but snapped this one as we passed by. It sort of matches the pumpkins in my last post. I’m just about to board my flight back to 80F, so fall foliage will be a thing of the past.Β  We had a great few days with the family.

    • Not so much at the coast where I lived, as most of the trees there are tropical. Where my sister lives, a bit higher up from the coast, there are more, and in Johannesburg, which is over 6,000 feet above sea level, we did get a ‘proper’ autumn and winter, although it rarely snowed.

  1. Syliva, this is just why I’m an autumn girl … the colors and the air. Stunning image. Over here there is no leaves lefft on the trees … that is so sad.

  2. well for a quick shot – you sure grabbed a great photo – the tree is glowing! and to piggy back on Andy’s comment, we also here in VA have had some super warm days this fall – has been nice, but we also have had the fall colors. πŸ™‚

  3. I really hunger for those colors. We won’t have the fall leaves for weeks. And they won’t be nearly as pretty as the northern trees.
The picture is lovely, but it doesn’t quite fill my appetite.
