Gorgeous this Sylvia…love him 🙂
Thanks, Sherri. Me too. 🙂
They seem so solitary. You have ever seen them with others?
Very true, Frank. No, he does seem to like his own company.
He’s so cute and does look a bit down in the dumps xxx
Yes he does look very ‘Dumpy Down’. 😕
He does look a bit glum, Ad. Wonder what he’s thinking? 🙂
Don’t you just love the word ‘glum’? It fits the meaning so perfectly. 🙂
Such a handsome devil and what a great shot!!
Clean and crisp! Amazing 🙂
Isn’t he magnificent! Fantastic capture Sylvia.
Great photo I meet one to yesterday
Thanks. How lovely for you, Marylou. 🙂
Glad it’s just the colour!
Yes. I’m rarely feeling blue. 😀
He looks striking against the soft pink background! Glad he’s back Sylvia 🙂
Yes he does. He’s so handsome, and he seems to know it. 🙂
OMG!! What an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G shot! Just love how I can see the feathers!!
Thanks so much, Constance. He’s a very good subject to photograph. He keeps very still. 🙂
You are lucky!! Usually birds are hard to capture!
The shades of Mr. Blue are so beautify. I brought up my Color Selector and saved some of the shades. 🙂
Yes, his plumage is rather magnificent. So glad you enjoyed seeing him. 🙂
Welcome back Mr Blue !
He’s here again today, and says, “Thanks, Poppy.” 🙂
Haven’t seen our Grey Heron for several months. The last time she visited she nabbed a large goldfish, so her absence isn’t that much of a disappointment.
She probably daren’t show her face again, after that little episode.
O he is back 😀 Beautiful portrait from him. Have a nice week Sylvia 🙂
Thanks so much, DellaAnna. You too. 🙂
Glad your feathery friend is back. Awesome photo!
Me too. Thanks, scrapydo. 🙂
Stunning shot ad! Love it ❤
Thank you. 🙂 xx
Ah, I can so relate. Started my day today a bit off, sad, irritable even. Perhaps from lack of sleep, hormonal or just those blue or grey days. I’m trying to find my piece of joy and inspiration by checking my blogger friends post. It’s working so well. Thanks.
So sorry you’re having a rough time, IT. I’m glad that my post gave you a snatch of joy. Lack of sleep is so debilitating. I hope things soon improve for you. *hugs*
Picture perfect! Your faithful friend is back, Sylvia! 🙂
Yes he is. 🙂

Very true, Yvette. The very best, 🙂
Gorgeous Shot Sylvia!

Nice to see your friend is back. 🙂
I’m thrilled, every time I see him. 🙂

Wow, that is an amazing portrait of Mr Blue!
Thanks, Gilly. I think he would approve. 🙂
My kinda blues~ ❤
Mine too, Cindy. 🙂
A fantastic shot. I like the lighting and the color tone of the water in the background.
Thanks so much, YC. 🙂
This is the sort of blue that makes one happy! Bet you’re happy to see your blue friend again!
Definitely, Gunta. He doesn’t stick around for very long though, so I have to be quick. 🙂
Ah your friend is back 🙂
Yes he is, and I’m so happy to see him. 🙂
