Simple Beauty for ‘Floral Friday Fotos’.

Floral Friday Fotos gives us the opportunity to display our favourite flower pics. This beautiful waterlily was found nestling in my MiL’s pond in England. I couldn’t resist a photo.

I’m off to be ‘crowned’ by my dentist this morning. So looking forward to the ‘coronation’. πŸ˜• Thanks so much for all your visits and comments this week. πŸ™‚ Wishing you all a very happy weekend.

  1. Thank you for your lovely image, Your Majesty! (Hope the dentist visit wasn’t too traumatic πŸ™‚ )
Thanks for taking part in Floral Friday Fotos, I look forward to your future contributions.

  2. Marvelous shot of the water lily. Your skill at photography appears to be improving by leaps and bounds. Wishing the next crown turns out better! What a pain to have to redo it.

    • Thanks, Gunta. I do my best, but have so much to learn and the thick manual which came with the camera is very daunting. I agree about the crown. They have a sample of the tooth, so why can’t they get it right? 😦

  3. Gorgeous waterlily. Love how the petals are slowly unfurling in the sun.

P.S. I see your crowning has been deferred. Like my jury duty. Only not quite like it…Oh dear…Sir had one some months ago, which also had been deferred like yours, so he can empathize. When he did get the crown, he had a video about electric cars cheeping in the background, which eased some of the tension. Many of the dental workers (there was a little team of them) stopped periodically to ask Sir exuberant questions about electric cars during the procedure. It was like he was conducted a micro class and he was some sort of muffling professor. An interesting experience…or…perhaps not…

Hugs and best wishes and happy weekend,

    Autumn Jade

    • My appointment was a bit of a waste of time. The lab guy hadn’t got the right shade of white to match my teeth, so I still have the temporary crown till next Thursday. 😦 Ah yes, the lovely Christine. We do miss her presence here. xx
