Serenity …….. “The state of being calm, peaceful and untroubled.”
“Life has its rhythm and we have ours. They’re designed to coexist in harmony, so that when we do what is ours to do and otherwise let life be, we garner acceptance and serenity.” ~ Victoria Moran
Here is my choice of photos which I believe, show a state of serenity.
Wishing you all a serene and untroubled week.

Greetings Sylvia. Are you ready for a day at the beach?
http://orples.net/orples-2/the-orples-find-a-beach-hammock-on-a-south-florida-beach/
A nice variety of Serene images … 😄 Now, I must go lie down on that hammock. Do you think the person in it would let me have a turn? LOL 😃
Hahaha. You’d have to wake him up first, and he might just insist on doing you some dreadlocks. 🙂
The water has a very calming effect, add beach sand and tropical trees…paradise bliss!
I don’t doubt that yoga is the right way to start a day, but Mr A is the most convincing 🙂 Hope your week is serene too, Sylvia!
Thanks so much, Paula. Mr. A only take second prize, after the dog on the paddle board. 🙂
🙂
The hammock always looks inviting. ( and serene) 😉. Enjoyed your post, ad. (Thanks for using my logo. I’m touched.)
Thanks so much, Gemma. I love your logo. Maybe i can start a trend. 🙂
Ha! Good luck with that! 😉
Waterfront is a great place for serenity!
It sure is, Frank. 🙂
beautiful gallery of serenity, Sylvia! truly Mr A is peacefully undisturbed. 🙂
Thanks, Lola. I wouldn’t dream of disturbing his rest. 🙂
Lovely shot of the yoga student.
Thanks, Jude. We were watching her from our breakfast table. 🙂
Schöne Bilder vor allen das Krokodil ich bin wieder zu Hause liebe Grüße von mir und einen glücklichen Dienstag Gruß Gislinde
Thanks so much, Gislinde. Glad you enjoyed seeing my resident alligator. 🙂 I’m so happy that you’re home again. Have a great day. xx
the man and the dog on the board, they are really in the moment
Yes they were. I was a real pleasure to witness such a scene. 🙂
The man and dog surfers are a perfect example of serenity to me. Very nice photo – the others are nice too, but man and dog are my favourite 🙂
Thanks so much. Yes this is my favourite too. 🙂
I’d like to start my day in a hammock on the beach…. the life… hehe dream on …
Hahaha. You have one on your verandah though, but maybe not so warm in the UK winter. 🙂
True, it is tugged away for the British Summer…. 🙂
Gorgeous serene photos Sylvia. We were paddle boarding today but no dog with me.:)
Thanks, Sue. Paddle boarding looks like fun if one has good balance. 🙂
Yes balance is required and some core strength. 🙂
That hammock looks mighty nice right about now. 🙂
I agree with you, Marcy. I could just curl up there, but not with Tony of course. 🙂
All perfect examples! Love the guy with his best friend!
Thanks, Sheila. That’s my favourite too. 🙂
Good selection of serene scenes…
Thanks, Pauline.:)
Wonderful shots, Sylvia. I love the dog sitting on the surf/paddle board. He looks very obedient and still. Good dog and they are certainly best friends 😀
Thanks, Mabel. Yes that dog looked really at home on the paddle board. It was the sweetest thing to see the two of them. 🙂
Wonderful shots of serenity….I love the idea of morning yoge at the front of a boat…magical to be so in touch with nature while stretching the body 🙂
Thanks, Seonaid. She did look very calm and relaxed doing her yoga exercises. 🙂
Good choosing photo’s for this challenge
Thanks, Marylou. Glad you enjoyed these. 🙂
These are great photos! That dog looks so content, too.
Thanks so much, Yes, the dog was very serene. 🙂
Very inspiring serenity pictures Sylvia…Thanks for sharing my friend.
You’re welcome, Jake. Thanks for your lovely comment. 🙂
Love the paddleboard! 🙂
How was Sanibel? Funnily I had a text from a friend last night, who’d been looking at old holiday photos there and wanting to return 🙂
Thanks, Jo. Sanibel was very nice. I’m busy with a lighthouse post today. 🙂
Beautiful collection, Sylvia.
Thanks, Nancy. 🙂
These are all so cool! I don’t think I’d be that serene with those choppy waves while i did yoga. I think serene tony wins 🙂
Hehehe. I think Tony was oblivious to everything around him. I didn’t like to disturb him to get my hair done. 🙂
Great pictures. Pawkisses for a serene week to you too 🙂 ❤
Thanks so much. You too. xx 🙂
I like all of them but like the first one best. To be able to move one’s body without pain and to be in control of one’s movements is serenity and a feeling of freedom.
Thanks. Yes, I can understand that feeling. She looked totally at ease with her exercise routine. 🙂
Wonderful entry for serenity. I love the quote.
Thanks, Angeline. 🙂
Beautiful photos, Sylvia! That hammock looks comfy. 🙂
Thanks so much, Jill. I think Tony was fast asleep in there, so I decided not to wake him to do my dreadlocks. 😀
Wonderful series of setenity, all in there one way:)
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed these. 🙂
Loved the first shot particularly as I’m about to head out to my yoga class… though not on some pretty boat! 🙂
Hahaha. Yes, it must be great to have one’s own yacht deck to perform on. 🙂
Mr. A looks calm but from a human onlooker he makes me nervous 🙂 The dog and the person on the serf board is serenity to me. Awesome.
Thanks, YC. Fortunately Mr. A was across the water from my house, so I felt quite safe for the moment. 🙂
I think that is perhaps not unusual to see when you live in Fl. 🙂
Crikey! there’d be a suntanning croc! pretty sure it doesn’t need lotion lol
Are you volunteering to rub in the oil? 🙂
ermmm can I use a very very big long boom? 🙂
I would not want to stroke him but he deserves his place in the sun which I suppose is more than you can say of some humans
Oh how right you are, Mel.
