A few splashes of green seemed appropriate for St. Paddy’s Day. Can you spot the odd man out? We were passing by in our little boat, and kept very quiet so as not to wake him.
He looked quite well fed, but one can never tell. ๐ No leprechauns here in Florida, but the fitness trainer did look rather odd in her green striped leg warmers. ๐
Love thiis! He’s sneaky!
Thanks. Yes he certainly does. ๐
Haha, crafty he is isn’t he? Hope you had a good St Paddy’s Day Sylvia ๐ xx
Very crafty, Sherri. I had a lovely Tuesday, but no green beer here. ๐

Thanks so much, Gislinde. ๐
Love it
๐
Too close for me even though he is sleeping Sylvia ! No leprechaun sightings ;then ๐

Nice greenery, Sylvia (and I love your little friend!) ๐
Thanks, Dianne. ๐
I wouldn’t have noticed, ad ๐
Hahaha. He is very well camouflaged. ๐
I wouldn’t want to disturb him either! ๐
Best to sneak past quietly. ๐
Such a subtle presence…he looks like he belongs there ๐
Yes he does. I think that must be his special log. ๐
YIKES!
Haha. Fooled you. ๐
I would be a bit too surprised (and scared) to see the green with the dark grey there.
Hahaha Yes, but if you’re good, he won’t bite you. ๐
Oh no! He’s lurking again. Careful he doesn’t find his way into your painting ๐ฆ
Hehehe. It seems I can’t get away from these creatures. ๐
Serene atmosphere
For the moment, Marylou. ๐
Whoa I hope he stays put!
He actually didn’t stay put. He decided to come for a swim very close to our boat. ๐ฏ
Great serene green scene for St. Paddy’s day ~ at least that reptile seems serene sleeping like a log on a log.
Thanks, Nancy. Yes, we wouldn’t want to disturb him, would we? ๐
Let sleeping monsters lie.
Absolutely! ๐
He looks like a small one (compared to Phil’s specimens). Definitely bigger than those little lizards though.
This is a Caiman, found in Costa Rica. They are quite bit smaller than alligators and crocodiles. I still wouldn’t like to get too close though. ๐
Oh my, he’s rather bold to be sunning his wrinkly buns like that.
Hehehe. Love the”wrinkly buns”bit. ๐
I guess he’s doing a little sunbathing. ๐
I think so, Jill. I didn’t offer to go rub in the sunblock for him. ๐
I think he should have a name. He is very stealth blending in on his tree. ๐
Maybe he has a name, Sue, but we didn’t stay long enough to get acquainted. ๐
Oh I am just always naming everything . Even the carved bear in our backyard is Charlie. Maybe you could have a naming contest for Mr Alligator. ๐
Serene yep with Mr. A’s greeting eh! XD
Hehehe. This time it was a Morelets croc ๐
Mr. C! was he having tea time with Mr. A? they jabbering over the plastic surgeon that made them different? ๐
๐
Oh, my goodness!
Exactly. Not quite as serene as my title promised. ๐
That’s for sure!!
He looks ready to pounce or preparing to do an Irish Jig? Are those shamrocks in the water?
Hahaha. Shamrock water lilies, I think. ๐
eeeeekk!
Hahaha. Gotcha! ๐
double eeeeekk!
Sorreee!!! ๐
