The bulk of it looks like appetizers or relish tray items which we typically have for hilidays, but just salivating at what looks like a fruit layer cake or cheesecaje?
A bit puzzled about this “sensory platter”, though I think I can make a reasonable guess. Looks very interesting. Tried to read the sign, but couldn’t make it out.
If you zoom right in, you should be able to read it. Suffice to say, I ate everything except the piquante peppers, sweet, hot and tangy. A bit too hot for my taste.

Yes it was all savoury stuff. The “cake” was terrine of beetroot, roast butternut, goatβs cheese, chives and dill.
Great photo.Very tasty to start your sunday.
Thanks, Marylou. π

And which did you pick first?
It was difficult to decide, but I had one of those creamy caper chicken skewers with halloumi, zucchini and bΓ©chamel. π

If you eat all this and then have dinner, I can see why boot camp is in order! π
Hahaha. This was in Johannesburg, and we didn’t have boot camp for the 4 weeks we were there. π
What’s the one with the purple layer?
It’s terrine of beetroot, roast butternut, goat’s cheese, chives and dill. I ate it all. π
You mean you are going to EAT after that? How do you stay so lovely and slender?
We had a five course meal after this. π
π
You can have my share of the olives if I can have your cheese π
There was another platter the same, and Chris and I were the only ones who liked olives. π
