Every country has its ice cream parlours, and Costa Rica was no exception.
It really wentΒ down a treat on a hot and dusty day, but as there was no air con, I had to eat it quickly before it melted. Well, that was my excuse anyway. π
Have you heard about the urban legend or it may just be a story passed around of a woman who wished to be buried with a spoon? Always liked the thought behind it: “Eat dessert first. Life is too short. ” π π
SUPER YUMMY … we came across a small market where we had refreshments. But, ice cream would have been so much better. I know exactly what you mean about the heat. I was melting. Great photo … !!!! π
Hahaha Me too, Lynne. I paused by the ice cream fridge at Publix today to look at the double chocolate Magnums, but hubby and I talked ourselves out of buying any. π
Fun post Sylvia. I once had an ice cream bar in Costa Rica that felt like a dive into a cold pool. There’s something about ice cream in Costa Rica, it’s really special. Thanks for reminding me of that wonderful experience. π
mmmm mmmm!!
It was very mmmm mmmm!! π

Funny…I’m making a baby quilt with many of the same vibrant colors in both the mural and the wickedly sinful dessert… π
I’m sure it will look good enough to eat. π

Oh that may be the most delicious looking thing I have ever seen!
Hahaha. It was mine at the time, Sue.
I’d buy that excuse Sylvia. π
