Travel Theme Self: It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Ailsa’s Travel Theme this week is ‘Self’, so I got hubby to take this photo by the tree at the club. It wasn’t until I walked in and saw the Christmas tree, that I realised I was appropriately dressed in red and white and looked like Mother Christmas, or maybe that should be ‘Granny Christmas’ ….. note that there’s no beard.

  1. giΓ  fatto l’albero? non fai il Presepe? ossantacleopatra io devo ancora fare tutto ed anche mettere le luci fuori in giardino, sono scusata ero fuorie sono arrivata solo stasera.Coplimenti siete bellissimi, tu e l’albero!

    • Yes it’s always beautiful. I don’t put up a tree, unless the grandchildren are here, but they’ve never been to Florida at Christmas. I gave my tree in South Africa to mom’s care home, as they only had a piddly little thing. It brought much joy last year, and I’m sure it’s up again right now. πŸ™‚

  2. How very elegant Sylvia !
Time to enjoy those uncovered pinkies for a little longer then before the trip over to UK πŸ˜‰

  3. Today I went to a very special candlelight service that is given yearly at this time to remember those who have passed. I thought of you when I listened to the pianist playing joyful holiday/Christmas music. Christmas is a wonderful time to remember good times, and to celebrate those who have gone before. Thank you for sharing this wonderful photo. You look amazing, as always. πŸ™‚

  4. You are a perfect match – both beautiful, dressed up in the right colours, he’s a bit taller than you and wearing a perfect beard. And – he’s loaded with presents!

  5. Nope. Christmas trees in a warm climate just do not do it for me. I could never get used to it in South Africa. But you are looking good Sylvia! When do you get to England?
