Monday morning saw Iggy looking the worse for wear after what can only have been a rather rough weekend. I couldn’t help but laugh at the “I’m all in!” expression on his face.
Wishing you all a happy month of March.

He has really nice markings. Has the construction scared any of the wildlife away.
We put a few bird feeders out. The birds – cardinals, scrub jays and woodpeckers – were the first to arrive. Have a wonderful weekend … Issy π
Hope your weekend has been great, Issy. Unfortunately we aren’t allowed to put a bird feeder up here. We had one but had to take it down as someone complained that it might attract vermin, which is ridiculous as it was 6 feet up on a palm tree trunk. π¦ All of our wildlife is still around, but now we have the screen room, they aren’t so close to the house, so it’s more difficult to get photos.
Hi Sylvia. And – Hi Iggy. π
Hi RoSy. β€
Has he been watching the news? π
Quite possibly. π
Haha…I know the feeling! π
π
metti dei nomi deliziosi e simpaticissimi ai tuoi amici, chissΓ se loro riescono a capirti quando li chiami….:-)
It sure does look like he had one heck of a weekend! lol π
Yes, he sure does. He’s hiding out now, recovering from his ‘Babbelas’. (Zulu for ‘hangover’). π
I was going to say, looks like he had too many margaritas! hee hee
Oh I know that feeling. π³
To you too, precious, but March has a very bad reputation. I would so much like to trade my neighbours for yours… any chance? π
Maybe I wouldn’t like your neighbours very much, Paula. I think I’ll hang onto the ones I have, but thanks anyway. π xx
Mr Iggy expresses how I felt today!
Oh dear. That doesn’t sound good. π
It was actually good in a way because it forced me into an afternoon nap which was just the perfect way to recover. π
π
I wonder if he is an “old soul,” Sylvia? He certainly has a look on his face seeing right through you. I like that you don’t have to worry about his snapping his jaws on any little critters like Mr. A surely did, even if you didn’t catch him in the act! π
Happy March to you and hubby! Welcome to your new home! I like how you mentioned you are quite comfortable in a comment. As Dorothy said coming back home from Oz, “There’s no place like Home!”
Thanks so much, Robin. Yes, we are very comfortable and there’s always lots to do here. π Iggy does have that ‘old soul’ look. You’re so right. xx
What a fantastic shot.
Thanks, Marylou. π
I think you have found a star performer, he was posing very nicely for you π
Yes I think so, Pauline. He seems to have disappeared again though. π
He’ll be back!!!
Like Arnie. π
I knew you would get the connection π
I really like your Iggy, Sylvia. He’s got a pleasant casual disposition π Happy March to you too, I trust the house is getting better by the day. XX
Thanks, Helen. We have the dust more under control and our ‘living quarters’ are most comfortable. π
What a great picture, Nice for Iggy to have a lie in. Wished I could. π
Thanks, Ute. I don’t think Iggy has a job to go to. π
Lucky him! π
He does look kind of exhausted, poor guy.
Obviously been burning the candle at both ends. π
Looks like! π
Mr iggy is just adorable Sylvia and so gorgeous! So great to see you made a new friend. He is so lucky to have you there. π β₯
Thanks so much, Sonel. I’m sure we’re going to get along fine together. π xx
I am sure you will. He is a great subject to photograph. π
yes he is. I looked for him today, but couldn’t see him. π¦ I did see few green lizzies though and Mr. AB draped over the bank. π
Must have been looking for a girlfriend or food. I am sure you will see him again. π
How sweet! It sure is wonderful to live so close to nature. β₯
Yes it is, as like yourself, I really enjoy seeing wildlife creatures. π
Einen schΓΆnen Mittwoch schΓΆnes Foto ein schΓΆnes Reptil lieber GruΓ und Umarmung Gislinde
Thanks so much, Gislinde. Happy Wednesday to you. π xx
He must be sunbaking after a busy morning. Well…goodbye Mr A and welcome Mr Iggy!
Hahaha. He doesn’t seem to be very energetic at the best of times. π
love him lol!!
Isn’t he such a character. Cybele. π
π
That’s hilarious! You have the wildest visitors (or neighbors)!
Reminds me of that song’Take a walk on the wild side’. π
I think he looks he has been partying all night long and having a hang over.
That’s my opinion too, YC. Tut tut. π
Haha, he really looks off – love the comment about “knackered”!
Hehehe. Definitely “knackered”.
I’m guessing you know how he feels! Hope March goes better for you, Ad! π
Oh absolutely, Jo! Thanks for the good wishes. I will survive. π
Well, Mondays can be like that. Happy March, Sylvia!
Thanks, Carol. I should have gone out to check on him today. Maybe he was looking more perky. π
He does look rather knackered! At least he has a comfy place to rest.
Hehehe. Love the word “knackered”. Most suitable indeed. π
Lol,well so glad you’ve made your self comfortable at your new place and have a new friend;)
Thanks, Kathy. I think Iggy could well be the main character around here. π
Oh that’s awesome !!!! I really look forward to seeing more of him , love the color. I’m just amazed I guess , and as many times as I’ve been in Fl (south Fl.) I’ve never seen one.. That goes on my manatee list π because I’ve never ever been lucky enough to see any of those either
We also haven’t seen manatees even when we went on a cruise down the Intracoastal here. We also looked in Key West, but apparently they’re quite elusive. I think one would have to be extremely quick with the camera to get a photo. π
I’ve gone in so many excursions , and everyone I know all over Fl. Have seen them . I sure see enough signs around water ways warning boaters .. I’m not giving up.. But my list is growing π
Never say die, Kathy. Let’s see who’s the first to see one. The race is on. π
Well ok but u do have the upper hand here πππ
Happy March, Sylvia and a happy March to lovely Mr.Iggy too! π xx
Thanks, Marina. Mr. Iggy is quite the gent isn’t he? π
Oh, yes he is!!!! π
I wonder what he’s been up to, to get so worn out. He’ll be great for Jude’s March challenge π
I daren’t ask, Gilly. I think he could be quite the main character on my blog. π
poor mr. iggy; it truly must have been a rough weekend! π have a wonderful March, Sylvia! π
Yes, I hope he’s recovered somewhat by now, Lola. π xx
Grillerige mnr die!
Is hy nie net? π
Happy March S-
Thanks, Cheryl. I hope so. π
x
Bah ha! Love the rough weekend Monday morning look! π
Hehe Poor Iggy. He looks totally bushed. π (Pun intended.)
He really does!
It’s all in the mind, Sylvia
Yes, Derrick. The imagination is a wonderful thing. π
Iggy Plop?
Indeed. Or Iggy Flop. π
Beautiful markings my sweet friend. Happy March! XOXO – Bacon
He is rather splendid, isn’t he? I bet you are too, Bacon. π
aaww piggy blushes. thank you my sweet friend. XOXO – Bacon
xoxo β€
He does look a little rough around the edges. π
Haha. Definitely he does, Jill. π
From a distance I almost could of mistaken him for a branch lol!
π He’s quite well camouflaged, but my eagle eye spotted him.
He can run but he can’t hide! lol!
Hehehe He didn’t look like he’d be running anywhere. π
Okay this is true π
