Hubby keeps telling me that we have bunnies in our garden, but when I rush to see them, they’ve already disappeared. Toady I did manage to spot a couple hopping around on the grass. let’s see if i can catch them with my camera.
Aha……success at last! I’ve never eaten rabbit, so I wonder if these would be tasty. Maybe I’ll give it a try.
I’m linking these to Jude’s March wildlife in the garden challenge. Let’s see if she falls for it.
Wishing you all a very happy Easter Sunday.
This is a super easter.
Yes, it was. 🙂
I prefer tuna-eggs, but I know who likes these bunnies… 😀 Thanks for your Easter wishes, while we were gulped down by the introooders. Hope you had a wonderful time as well 🙂 Double Pawkiss 🙂 ❤
oh cute! hope it was a good one!
Thanks, Cybele. The bunnies tasted great. Easter was a quiet one without family.
oh brilliant! only issue now is you’ve made me hungry!
For chocolate. 🙂
just hungry… 🙂
love your bunnies! I need to buy some of those 😉
Those are the best bunnies, Sylvia! Golden and sweet 🙂
Yummy bunnies indeed…and all the way from Switzerland…your wildlife continues to surprise me with its ever expanding exoticism😆
Hehehe I wonder whatever will be next. 😕 I just saw an otter swimming past my bathroom window, but I’ll have to be quicker to get a photo. Maybe one day I’ll be lucky.
Aw I love otters…..saw some this morning down at the shore…but not anywhere near close enough to catch a good shot! 💕
I believe they can be quite dangerous. I read that one actually attacked and killed an alligator, and rabid one mauled a 90-year-old man. I think I have to keep my distance. 😕
🙂 🙂 happy Easter season, Sylvia! 🙂
I hope yours was lovely too, Lola. x
LOL, those are awesome bunnies! I usually encounter a rabbit or two on my morning runs, but it’s too dark to attempt a picture! They sit really still until I get close and then they start to race me… and I tell them every time that it’s not a race – they are totally going to win! 😀
Very dangerous creatures hahah! Hope you had a wonderful Easter, Sylvia! Hugs
Hehehe Thanks so much, Lucy. 🙂 x
Hope you had a wonderful Easter and survived the bunny invasion.
Yes we did. Hope your Easter was lovely too. 🙂
Hee hee – you had me fooled until I saw the first photo! 🙂 Our Lindt bunnies are safely indoors (maybe not so safe though, once the Easter eggs have been eaten!)
We didn’t get any Easter eggs, so the bunnies didn’t stand a chance. 😕
They don’t look dangerous but you never know. Be carefull !!!!!!!! 🙂
Haha No, one can never tell with wild animals. We unwrapped them very carefully. 😆
Just love it!!
Thanks, Aletta. 🙂
Oh, you’re just too clever by half. I’ve been told we have some bunnies living under an abandoned car just down the street. Haven’t seen them either. Perhaps I could try your technique, but the people who live at the house might object.
Bunnies are so sweet, just like squirrels are. Maybe they’ll come to visit you one day, so you don’t have to go creeping around your neighbour’s abandoned car. 🙂
Aaah. Lindt bunnies. They are everywhere here in Australia. They look like they blend in nicely in your yard 🙂 🐰🐇
They blended even more nicely in our tummies. 😀
LOL Love this! So nice of them to sit still for you. 😀
Yes, they were so obliging…..and tasty too. 🙂
Haaaa! What beautiful bunnies you have, Sylvia. I wish they were hopping around my garden! 😀
I’m afraid the bunnies’ hopping days have been curtailed, Dianne. They were delicious. 🙂
Very cute! – Happy Easter to you. I was remembering today Easter Sundays at my grandparent’s home on Sea Island, Ga. today. My father would hide eggs all over the yard, in clever places like the bark of cabbage palms. There was a service at a very old church on St. Simons Is., and there must have been wonderful food, but I’m not sure I appreciated that as much. The weather was always lovely, and Spring migration would be in full sway. I’d go out to the beach early in the morning and try to identify sandpipers – all wonderful memories, and now I know it’s nothing like it was.
Such precious memories. Sometimes I wish that things could still be the same as I remember them from way back, especially at Easter and Christmas. 🙂
LOL Sylvia – did you see the post with the Easter humor? “How’s the diet going? Not well, I had eggs for breakfast. Scrambled? No, Cadbury!!!”
That’s my kind of humour, Tina. 🙂
I feel guilty with bunnies… their little eyes looking at you… 🙂
I shall avert my eyes when I open my mouth. 😀
ooh! Sylvia you are naughty. 😉
Hehehe. 👺
I get the feeling Mr. A isn’t very far grinning at this sight 😀 lol
Well, he’s not getting any of my bunny. 🙂
For sure not lol 😀
Ooooh yes, Lindt bunnies. Delicious, they are my favourite.
Mine too, Carol. 😃
Oh I can assure you they are tasty. specially those golden rabbits from Lindt! I love them! Happy Easter!
Yes, I know they are, Ute, Hope you also got Easter chocolate to enjoy. 🙂 xx
Are you sure those are YOUR bunnies? I’m thinking they look rather wrapped up for such a southern location……maybe those are MY bunnies????
Hehehe Nice try, Torrie. They will be unwrapped before too long. I wouldn’t want them to melt. 🙂
What an unusual breed, Sylvia! 🙂
Happy Easter!
Yes, they only tend to appear around Easter time. 🙂
Chocolate is always tasty, Sylvia. Happy Easter!
Definitely so, Carol. 🙂
Nice one!! That’s the only kind of bunny I approve of eating 😉
Me too, Joanne. 🙂
My Lindt bunny hopped onto my desk 😉
He might hop into your mouth before too long. 😃
I have one just like these sitting on my laptop, not sure what it’s waiting for 😉
I think he’ll find out sooner rather than later, Gilly. 🙂
Hey ho….a bunny just like that was hopping around my dining table!
Seems like we bloggers have a chocolate bunny epidemic, Sue. 🙂
😀😀🐇🐇
😀
Happy Easter. What a treat, a sighting of wildlife followed by sweet eating
Yes, the perfect way to spend the day. 🙂
So , Hubby was right….
Happy Easter , again!
He usually is, Anna. 🙂
Those rabbits are too cute to eat. Happy Easter, Sylvia!
Well, cute they may be, but my bet is that they won’t be spared. 😕
I love the pretty garden with fuschia flowers and the wooden stump tree was such a clever place for that sweet Bunny to perch on! 😉
Thanks, Robin. The purple flowers are part of a bougainvillea bush. I would love to plant some fuchsias when we get around to redesigning the garden. 🙂
Oh, leave it to my lack of concentration and memory of my gardening plants to mix this up. Lol, Sylvia!
Happy Easter! It is always a great joy to make our neighbours wonder, isn’t it!
Haha. Yes indeed, it is. 🙂
Funny Bunny!
😆
Happy Easter, Sylvia. 💐
Thanks, Lisa. 🙂
How strange! I have a bunny exactly like that.
What a coincidence! 🙂
Indeed. I suspect mine will not survive the night.
Likewise. 😦
Aw…so cute-Happy Easter!!
Glad you like my bunnies, Cheryl. 🙂 x
So precious Sylvia-Happy Easter! x
Love your sense of fun Sylvia. Happy Easter!
Thanks, Sue. The neighbours probably thought I was nuts, walking around with my camera and the bunnies and taking photos in various parts of the garden. 😆
My guess is they are pretty used to taking photos of most anything Sylvia. 🙂
Yes, I’m always prowling around. 😀
Rabbit is very tasty
I’ll take your word for it Derrick, but I’ll stick to chocolate bunnies. 🙂
Just use a lot of tomato sauce (what you call ketchup) on them. They should be quite edible.
Enjoy your Easter.
Thanks so much for the advice. I don’t think I’ll try it though. Might spoil the taste. 🙂
Happy Easter Sylvia!
Thanks, Nicole. 🙂
I like that kind of bunny. I am sure the taste is toward sweet and chocolate.. The combination can make your eyes rolling 🙂
Oh yes me too, YC. The best thing is that no bunnies were harmed in the making of these. 🙂
That was exactly my thought.
