This week, Paula tells us:
Inflated is a word that lends itself to quite a few interpretations:
-
Blown up, puffed out
-
Raised, escalated
-
Exaggerated, overstated, embellished
-
Pompous, pretentious
She invites us to “Use these or some other meaning of inflated to show it in picture.”
Outside the Hรฅagen Dazs ice cream parlor in Key West was this huge cardboard cutout. Of course 4-year-old Max couldn’t resist climbing up there and peeping over the top. It certainly inflated him in size.

Very cute Sylvia!
Max almost had me fooled. The little hands were a bit of a giveaway, though. ๐
Hahaha Yes, he was trying to pull himself up. ๐
Cute! ๐
What a cutie ๐๐๐
Yes he is, and I’m excited to see him again in a couple of days’ time. ๐
Looks like he could have used that drum to stand on. But he gets marks for effort! What a cutie-pie!

COOL take on the inflated theme —
Thanks, Yvette. I love the adjective “cool”, as this was taken outside an ice cream parlor. ๐
Yes – pun intended on this one – ha!
Haha Sylvia when I first saw the image the thought of a shrunken apple head doll jumped to mind. Have you seen those?
No I hadn’t seen them, but just googled to have a look. I definitely see the resemblance. ๐
Looks like quite a S~T~R~E~T~C~H for him!
Yes, that look on his face tells a story. ๐

Thanks, Lisa. When I saw the challenge, I remembered this shot. ๐

Max looks adorable in the “inflated” outfit!
Haha Yes, he does. ๐
Very special and that lovely little face is cute
Thanks, Marylou. ๐
Aww, this Max of yours is quite a sweet and attractive little boy! He is a “charmer” in my grandmother’s language. ๐ The use of inflated became quite fun and interesting in this case, Sylvia!
Thanks again for the catch-up, Robin. Yes Max is a very personable little boy, and as you so rightly say, a little charmer. ๐
Excellent choice… ๐
Thanks, Drake. ๐
