Wordless Wednesday: The Dancer

“Listen to the trees as they sway in the wind. Their leaves are telling secrets. Their bark sings songs of olden days as it grows around the trunks. And their roots give names to all things. Their language has been lost. But not the gestures.” – Vera Nazarian (The Perpetual Calendar of Inspiration)

Happy Wednesday to you all.

  1. The trees do seem to hold mysteries, all kinds of creatures hide among branches and limbs, Sylvia. I would always believe Nature has its way of passing secrets and love the word, “whispers. . . .” It holds so much intrigue! 🙂

  2. Ahh…beautiful. I’ve always believed that trees talk…and dance… Have a wonderful rest of the week Sylvia, and a lovely weekend if I don’t see you before then 🙂 xx

  3. I love this, very thought provoking and very true. Our trees are certainly talking today, it is quite windy and they are swaying this way and that in the breeze, as if nodding in agreement to each other or leaning in a little closer to hear a whispered tale and oh the secrets they could tell.

  4. Fancy That! It really does look like a dancing tree. We have one near us that looks like an elephant. The children used to love driving past in their way to school. It’s good to have an imagination 🙂
