Yeah. Good luck keeping Sammy out of that feeder. My squirrel, AKA Nemesis, didn’t come round this season and I think he may have moved on, so to speak. I was given a very nice feeder but am afraid to install it. It may serve as a beacon for the accursed squirrel’s offspring.
For some reason I see parts of a “girl” look on his chest. Am I silly and she is really a Samantha? Sammy could have what the Brits call “bits.” Not to embarrass or create a stir, Sylvia, just to ask. . . 🙂
I think Sammy squirrels are the same all over the world! I’ve just put some fresh bird seed out, so I expect there will be a couple of Sammys along very soon. 🙂
Oh yes, sure to be. Hubby isn’t going to fill ours again until he’s got time to hang it on a wire between two palms. He thinks this might foil Sammy, but I doubt it. 😀
Welcome back to you, dear Annalisa. I’m soon to embark on a trip to South Africa and England. One country is enjoying Spring, and the other will be Winter when we arrive in November. 🙂
I had that feeder and the squirrels and chipmunks were eating most of the food leaving the little birds hungry. We finally changed the feeder and now food is for the birds.

Haha….Love the ‘Nemesis’, John. Maybe your squirrel took exception to the name you gave him, and decided to abandon you. 🙂
I gotta say… Sammy is my most fave!
I’m with you, Rommel. He’s a cheeky little so-and-so, but I love him. 🙂
Oh, what a sweetie. Well done for capturing him.
Thanks so much, Mandy. 🙂
Great shot! It’s a never-ending battle…
Thanks, Lynn. Yes it is, but he’ll get no refill whilst we’re away. 🙂
Aww what a great photo!! What do you have for a camera?
Thanks so much. I use a Nikon Coolpix P510 with 42x zoom. I intend getting something a bit more powerful at some stage. 😃
He is cute, I’d be just the same!
Yes, I’m sure you would, Gerrie. 🙂
Here, as you will recall, it is the monkeys who poach the birdseed! Even though bribed with bread not to.
The monkeys will take anything and everything. 🙂
But he is so darned cute, Sylvia. And soooooo very hungry! 😀
I know he is. I can’t begrudge him anything. 🙂
It is…now 😉 Extra Pawkisses 🙂 ❤
Yes, you’re right. 🙂

Good point … er, points … er … (retreats in confusion).
😅
Hehehe Funny you should say that, Robin. I’m just about to post a photo of Sammy/Samantha with her ‘bits’ clearly showing. 🙂
Oh, good. I actually worried you may think my comment a little inappropriate, Sylvia. I should know by now, you have a lovely sense of humor. Hehehe
Awww – Sammy is certainly a cutie pie 😀
Definitely so, Dianne. 🙂

Oh that will be fun to see Sammy’s attempts! I hope you will have your camera handy. 🙂
Don’t worry, I’ll be there to record the circus, but it won’t be until after we get back. Hubby is too busy at the moment to set it up.
I will have to be patient then… 🙂
Sammy is adorable but not such a good listener. 😊
Yes, he has both of those qualities, Sue. 😀
As far as he’s concerned Chez Sylvia has a Michelin stats I why go elsewhere? Happy Sunday 🙂
Haha Yes, I guess you’re right. He’ll miss me and my seeds whilst we’re away. 🙂

I think Sammy is judging the situation correctly 😉
He quite an astute little guy. No flies on him! 🙂
Squirrels will be squirrels … Just as our need to be fair and just is the best of human behavior 😍
Wow, 😎 Sammy is so cute!!! Great shot!!!
Thanks, RV. 😃
Fantastic shot, Sylvia!
Thanks so much, Jill. 😘
But to much is to much. You can only put more birdfeeders
He also brings his two friends around to share, when he’s feeling generous. 🙂
Sammy so cute, prachtig photo Sylvia!
Thanks, DellaAnna. 😘

I need a photo of your squirrel proof feeder. 😅
… and we are supposed to think of them as vermin 😦 He’s a cutie Sylvia !
Yes, I can’t imagine why. They’re much better behaved than a lot of humans. 😅
and with those acrobatics how can you say no 😄
Impossible, Andy. 😅
Exactly 😀 lol
Oh he is one happy guy! Happy Fall to you Sylvia and he is oh so busy gathering up his food for the cold weather.
Yes he certainly is a happy little chap. . It’s all hop-skippety-jump around the backyard. 😀 Happy Fall to you too. xx
And why shouldn’t it be? 🙂 🙂 Happy weekend, Sylvia!
Clearly you aren’t speaking Squirrelish….. Great images!
He just gets away with it because he’s so cute. 🙂
Of course he does, Bun. You should know all about that. 😉
He’s a wiley one, Sylvia–
You can see it in his eye, Jet. He lives by his wits. 🙂
Sammy’s looking out for Sammy! 🙂
Oh yes, that’s why his fur looks so shiny. 🙂
lol !
Silly Sammy! I guess he is afraid he doesn’t have enough for winter.
He’s just greedy, and won’t rest until all the seed is gone, which is the case right now. 🙂
I have a water pistol. He laughs himself silly when I try to scare him off. 🙂
🐿🌂
Love him!
Wonderful captured, such a cute fellow… 🙂
Thanks, Drake. Yes he is. 🙂
Yes, cute, but so incredibly greedy … Sigh. 😉
Not easy to deter and determined Sammy Sylvia. Smashing picture! 🙂
Thanks, Adrian. Sammy is very persistent and has managed to empty the bird feeder completely. 😕
Hahaha, do I detect a birdfeeder with 100% protection against all Sammys?? 🙂
Supposedly. 😅
Mr. Sammy needs to make a living too. Every where is free place for him 🙂
Please have a great weekend.
I know. I love watching his acrobats. 🙂
