Wordless Wednesday: A Wonderful Sight

Just thought I’d pop in to report that my eye is now completely healed. It’s so nice to be able to take photos again.

I must go down to the sea again,
to the lonely sea and the sky;
I left my shoes and socks there –
I wonder if they’re dry?Β  ~ Spike Milligan

Happy Wednesday to you all.

  1. I’m a huge Spike Milligan fan so enjoyed your quote very much Sylvia. Glad to hear your eye has healed though as I’m working backwards through my mountain of emails, I wasn’t aware you had a problem. I hope it wasn’t too uncomfortable. Lovely picture! πŸ™‚

    • Thanks, Adrian. I’m so grateful that my eye is much improved, although it certainly wasn’t a comfortable experience having someone scratch around in the back of my eye for over an hour. 😳 A very weird feeling indeed.

  2. Good to see that it all went well in the end, Sylvia. Seeing and photography go hand in hand, now enjoy your holiday in the UK. Safe travels back home! πŸ™‚

  3. Oh, so happy for your eyesight to be back and healed up nicely, Sylvia. I love the churning, bright blue waves and water here. I can tell this is a gorgeous place to stay. Hugs xo

  4. Splendid news Sylvia ! You’ll certainly be enjoying lots of clicks this week then of your favourite views on the beach . Wonderful . Seems like it might be rather a chilly time in UK you’ll have to find a roaring fire somewhere maybe πŸ˜‰ but then , lucky you off back home to sunshine and as Jude mentioned – a new President ! Enjoy xx πŸ™‚
