Grandpa Igasho shows off his new orange and black outfit. “What do you think of my Halloween costume? I thought I’d better grab it quick before they were all sold out.”
This is my contribution to Debbie’s ‘Six Word Saturday’ challenge.
I hope you’re all having a great weekend.
Looks handsome
Beautiful costume grandpaw💛🖤Pawkisses for a Happy Day🐾😽💞
Thank you dear Binky. 😘🤗
I love the names of your free-ranging neighbors. And this ‘costume’ is perfect for the season. What a great capture 🎃
Thanks, Lisa. They all have to have names. 😅
Ha ha! Brilliant!
Thanks, Fi. 🙂
He certainly is dressed for the season…I’m sure he is trying to impress the ladies.
Well, he’s certainly impressed some of my blog friends. 😅
I love how you name the wildlife, amazing picture.
Thanks, Cathy. They’re almost part of the family. 😀
Love grandpa in all his glory! And he poses like a professional 🙂
Thanks, Helen. He’s really got the look for the season. 🙂
Whata beauty .Like the colors much but have never ssen them in this colors black-orange
Thanks, Marylou. Glad you liked his outfit. 😀
no party cite (that was funny)
such a nice tree to hang out in too
Thanks, Yvette. Imagine what a stir he would cause if he showed up at Party City! Everyone would want a costume just like his. 🤣
you are so right
He looks very handsome!
I so agree. 😍
Haha definitely quite the costume!
Yes, he does, and he didn’t have to go to Party City to buy it. 😀
That is a beautiful iguana. And beautifully captured.
Thanks, Otto. 😃
You really live in a national park. 🙂
The only place(s) where I could see so many animals were our garden in Nairobi and the one in Guinea…
Cheers
Thanks, Brian. We love our wildlife here, but really miss the alligator, who seems to have disappeared. 😳
Not exactly a “small” pet to disappear overnight?
Personally I wouldn’t mind the disappearance in my garden. (We have a 2 1/2 grandson!)
Be good.
🤣🙃😁
That’s quite the critter you captured Sylvia. I take it he’s just visiting?
There have been some unusual large green lizards around here since Irma
Thanks, Eddie. These iguanas have taken up residence here and seem to be multiplying every year.
We all know that this colour is ” dernier cri”….
Nice model , too and great pic!
Thanks, Anna. 🙂
What fashionable critters you have in your garden. 🙂
That’s for sure. Would you like me to send you a few? We have a surfeit. 😯
Thanks, but no, thanks! I’ll make do with our lizards and slugs, thank you!
Thought so. 😦
I saw a green one in Kew Gardens yesterday, posing like this one! Great colours! Hope you had a great weekend!
Thanks, Ute. Most of the ones here are bright green or greyish green. The biggest ones seem to turn orange when they’re looking for a mate. 💞
He certainly is ready for Halloween! Great shot!
Thanks so much, LuAnn. 😃
Well, he certainly can’t sneak up on you, can he? Great shot, Sylvia!
Thanks, Jill. No, he’s certainly not well camouflaged when he’s orange. 😅
Well captured – I’ve not seen this colour scheme before
Thanks, Derrick. Glad I could show him to you.
I like his costume definitely. I am wondering what he looks like in his normal dress. Also, he intrigued me why he likes to be up on the tree limbs like that.
Thanks, YC. The big ones are usually greyish green. Apparently they roost in the trees at night. I think he likes to be up there keeping an eye on what’s going on. 😅
To protect the lady of the place (you), I think 🙂
Well, now that Mr A the alligator seems to have disappeared, I think Grandpa Igasho has taken on the bodyguard responsibility. 😃
He is so colourful!
Yes, he is. He’s dressed to impress, at the moment. 😀
So smart of Grandpa Igasho. Early and ready for Halloween. He looks a bit like…a prawn in the sun 🦐😆
Hehehe I love your description, Mabel. Thanks for the giggle. 😀
Perfect timing as well as ultra stylish 🙂
He’s a ‘dedicated follower of fashion’. 😀
He’s very handsome, and looks like he’s well aware of his beauty. 🙂
Thanks, Carol. Yes, he’s not a shy model at all. 🙂
Stylish for sure, but I hope I never have the option of dressing up as myself for halloween (as I’d imagine Freddie Kruger can…)
Yikes…….. Freddie Kruger? No thanks. 😯 I much prefer harmless Iggy Gramps . 😀
Beautiful colourful guy! 🙂
Thanks, Lynette. I’ll pass on your compliment to him. 🙂
love this Sylvia! Have a good weekend
Thanks, Lisa. 😘
He’s a handsome guy & just right for Halloween!
Yes, he is and he knows it. 🙂
Great colours
Yes, quite eye-catching. 🙂
You do a great job capturing nature’s inhabitants.
Thanks so much, Lulu. 😘
Black and white are certainly very Halloween colors.
It looks like you visitors are very dedicated to your photography.
Great subjects to capture …. Issy 😎
Thanks so much, Issy. They are such showoffs. 😀
You have the most amazing friends!!! Amazing photograph.
Thanks so much, Rebecca. Yes, I do think of our backyard creatures as friends, although many of our neighbors don’t feel the same way at all.
A real photomodel
Thanks, Marylou. Yes, he really knows just how to pose to best effect. 🙂
That is a happening tail!
Hahaha……yes, I like your description, Nancy. 🙂
Nice work! (Both you and him!!!) 🤗
Thank you. We both take a bow. 😀
A proud beauty posing there!
Thanks so much. Yes, he seems to enjoy posing over there in the tree. I think he’s looking for love. 🙂
