We’re still away from home, with family and tomorrow morning we all split up to go our separate ways. We all had a great Christmas together, with lots of good food and many smiles shared around.

The pelicans have been rather tardy in making an appearance here this winter, but a few days ago I spotted this pair from my kitchen window.
Penny was looking down from her perch and cooing in her sultry ‘Mae West’ voice to her friend Perry ” Hey Handsome, why don’t you come up and see me sometime?”
Perry, who had been hoping for an invitation from the beautiful lady upstairs, was in the process of preening himself.
It didn’t take very long for him to accept her kind invite and soon the two of them were well on their way to becoming BFWB.
Another Mae West quote which I really love, is, “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”
