Love the wonderful color of spoonbills. We had a few visit us last year, I hope they stop back by again…they have a standing invitation. Reply
We most certainly do, Gerrie. Our house backs onto the water, so we get a great selection of backyardigans. π Reply
Rosie is nothing short of stunning!! We haven’t seen Miss Rosa for a couple of weeks, perhaps she’s busy nesting already on the ‘bird island’. Reply
She is beautiful. I donβt see Rosie very often, but when we go to the nature reserve, we usually see a couple in the reeds. Not close enough for a clear photo though. Reply
How beautiful. I have yet to get close enough to get a good photo so I will enjoy yours all the more! Reply
Where do you find them.. you have the most amazing bird collection in that nature of yours.. π Reply
No itβs called a Roseate Spoonbill. Itβs related to the Ibis. The pink colour comes from the food it eats, like with the Flamingos. Reply
