Mr. GBH has been on his own for as long as I remember, but yesterday it seemed that he may have a date.
It was looking very promising indeed.
However, it was to come to nothing and they parted just good friends.
I wonder if they’ll ever meet again. I’d love to see some GBH babies around the place. Call me a matchmaker if you like.
Wishing you all a very happy weekend.
Lovely ‘tète à tète”
Maybe he whispered in her ear and they have plans later.. 😉
Maybe they have different priorities. Haha
We will probably never know. 😅
I hope they get together… wouldn’t it be nice see some wee ones!
Oh yes, I agree with you, Gerrie. It would be wonderful. 🙂
Maybe she was just checking to see if he was wearing a heron aid. 😉
Very funny, Dave. 😀
Mr. GBH is looking for his soul mate. Evidently, this Heron was not she. Wonderful captures, Sylvia! 🦋🦋🦋
Thanks, so much, AmyRose. I’m sure he’ll find Ms Right very soon. 🙂
I would love to know what they were saying to each other and I love to see the young GBH playing around there too.
Thanks, YC. Me too. 🙂

So do I, Donna. 🙂
I do hope we get to see some cute babies one day.
If I do see any, you can be sure you’ll also see them. 😃
Handsome pair. I love watching them when we’re in SC. 🙂
Thanks, Judy. I love their perfect poise.

Thanks so much, dear Nia. xx
Maybe they set a date to meet up later.
So, these guys are in your ‘backyard’?
I do hope they get together again. Yes, we get lots of wildlife in our backyard and also get to see what’s going in across the water in our neighbour’s patch.
What a view!
That’s why we bought the house. 😀
Good captures, Sylvia.
It probably was a male and a female . . . otherwise there would have been a whole lot of squawking going on!
That happened a few days ago when there were three of them together. One got sent on his way in double quick time. 😀
