XingfuMama’s ‘Pull Up A Seat Challenge’ is now in its 43rd week and I’m really enjoying taking part in it.
I’ve chosen a few seats at the beach for this week. On a trip back home from Key West, we stopped for lunch at a beach restaurant in Islamarada. The grandchildren had fun playing on this swinging seat. Little Max swung it so hard that we had to rescue the salt and pepper pots.
These shady seats on the beach there also looked very inviting.
Back in Umhlanga, South Africa, a couple were enjoying sitting on one of the many benches, watching the waves and a lone fisherman.
Further along that same promenade, this guy didn’t look terribly comfortable lying on a hard wooden bench. Maybe he was working his abs.
Here’s a very rustic picnic spot on the beach in Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica.
Our resort in Phuket had a lovely balcony with seats and umbrellas overlooking the beach.
I hope you’re having a relaxing week. To join in XingfuMama’s seat challenge, just click the link.
What a great selection of chairs..
I love your grandchildren playing on the swinging seat…but for beach comfort and relaxation, it would be hard to go past Umhlanga!

It’d be VAY KAY every day in Phuket… ๐
Oh yes, for sure. ๐
I enjoyed seeing all these seats at the beach Sylvia!
I need to get myself a picnic table from Costa Rica!
Itโs very authentic. ๐
I love these beach seat pictures. ๐

How fun !!! We love going to the keys
Thanks, Kathy. We plan to go there for a few days in December. ๐
The first picture makes me smile. I can feel they were having a great time. The boy were really enjoying moving the swing while the two older girls had fun sitting on the swing kept swung by someone one.. So cute!
Thanks, YC. Little Max is a very determined boy. He made sure he really rocked that swing. ๐
Great variety, Sylvia!
Thanks, Frank. I seem to have a lot of seat photos.
I love the swinging seat the most.
Thanks, Linda.
Lovely colored chairs
Thanks, Marylou.
Whenever I look at seats, I think of all the wonderful conversations that have happened over the years. Seats keep our stories safe…
Seats, the silent witnesses.
Really enjoyed the beach shots –
I like he chairs with the shadows most!
Thanks, Yvette. Yes, shade is essential. ๐
And cool how the yellow seat is in the light – nice moody photo
