Wishing you all a splendid weekend.
Cee’s B&W Photo Challenge this week is ‘Clouds’.
Here are clouds hovering over the city of La Paz, the capital of of Bolivia. At an elevation of roughly 3,650 m (11,975 ft) above sea level, La Paz is the highest capital city in the world. We’d just flown into El Alto airport which is even higher, at an altitude of 13,323′ and I was definitely feeling the effects.
Clouds over lake Titicaca as we took the hydrofoil across the lake to Copacabana.
The clouds around the lighthouse in my old hometown of Umhlanga South Africa, where at sea level my body is happiest.
Here in Florida it’s pretty flat too. No wonder the clouds fall into the water at our local nature reserve.

This Vanda Orchid on my pond has blossomed yet again only three months after the last time.
Have a beautiful Wednesday.

XingfuMama’s ‘Pull Up A Seat Challenge Week 8’ had me thinking of really cool seats that I’ve seen and experienced.
Visiting Tahoe for Christmas 2018, I sat on this stone wall. The icy cold even found it’s way through my three layers of clothes.
I’m sure these two locals were used to the cold and probably met here most days for a chat.
On a previous Christmas visit to our son in New Jersey, this was the view through his family room window.
However, the coolest seat I ever sat on was this one in Antarctica.
Hoping you have a warm and pleasant seat to read this post.

Muriel Muscovy gliding by on cloudy Sunday morning.
Hope your Sunday is just as peaceful.
I’ve been a bit concerned for grandpa’s safety, as I haven’t seen his orange beacon up in the trees for about a week. A couple of days ago, he made a welcome appearance outside my bathroom window, so I knew he’d managed to steer clear of the Iguana Control man’s pellet gun.
I hope Igasho realizes that he really shouldn’t be ‘sticking his head above the parapet’ and goes back to his tree safe house.

A pretty visitor to our backyard. Daisy vacuums up the birdseed that falls on the grass.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
Sammy squirrel was delighted to find that the bird feeder had just been refilled.
Hope your Wednesday is going as well as Sammy’s is.

I recently connected with Rebecca Budd a.k.a. Clanmother, a dear friend and fellow blogger from Vancouver. We had a marvellous conversation via the wonderful world of Podcast. Here is the link to our conversation about how I came to be a blogger and also about my fabulous backyard wild friends here in Florida. I hope you enjoy.
Wishing you all a perfect Wednesday.
