One Word Sunday: Pareidolia

Two forest creatures having a tête-à-tête, but why stand so close to one another? Haven’t they read about social-distancing?

Hope you’re all keeping a safe distance from your fellow creatures on this beautiful Sunday.

Signs Of The Times In Florida

A few days ago, on entering our always quiet local mall which has so many closed down stores, but is a great place to go for an inside walk in the air-conditioning, we were greeted by this sign.

There was also a notice informing us that unfortunately the Easter Bunny won’t be visiting this year.

How nice it will be when life can safely go back to normal, but in the meantime, we’ll adhere to the social distancing and just walk around our community, smiling and waving from a prudent distance to other walkers. I love this serene statue in a neighbour’s front garden.

Wishing you all a peaceful Wednesday. Remember that happiness is the new rich, inner peace is the new success, good health is the new wealth and kindness is the new cool.

One Word Sunday: Communication

Seen on our drive from Puno to Cusco in South Eastern Peru. This outside toilet might look somewhat primitive, but seems to have ‘All Mod Cons’ for keeping in communication with the rest of the world.

Marsha The Marsh Hare In March

Sweet and calm Marsha the Marsh Hare, really doesn’t look as ‘Mad as a March Hare’. Of course, Alice saw her March Hare ‘Through The Looking Glass’,  not through her bathroom window, so there’s the difference.

One Word Sunday: Knot A Real Lion

Debbie’s ‘One Word Sunday ‘challenge this week is ‘Knot’. This lion’s head was magically created by the knots in a boardwalk plank at our local nature reserve.
