Frogs On Friday

Out on our morning walks, I see a real assortment of garden ornaments, but the favourite seems to be frogs. We do get quite a lot of real frogs here, mostly tiny ones that hop across the sidewalk and occasionally there’ll be one the size of my fist. They’re always too fast for me to catch a photo, so I took the easy way out and shot the inanimate ones with my phone camera.

Kermit the beloved ‘Muppets’Β  frog, had many inspirational messages for us and here are just a few:

“I think the best way to find happiness is to stop looking so hard.”

“It’s nice to be important, but it’s important to be nice.”

“Every journey begins with a single hop.”

“Just because you haven’t found your talent yet, doesn’t mean you don’t have one.”

“Always be happy when people are in a bad mood. The last thing they want to do is hang around with happy people.”

“Life’s like a movie. Write your own ending.”

Wishing you all a very happy weekend and remember during this time ofΒ  what some of us might consider deprivation and inconveniences

“Be thankful for the bad things in life, for they opened your eyes to the good things you weren’t paying attention to before.” ~Kermit

  1. Kermit was rather wise. He said some very important things. Funny how frogs are often garden ornaments, as I realised I have many… πŸ™‚ Keep healthy!

  2. I LOVED your delightful frogs and their reminders to live in ways that bring joy to our days. Your Frogs are Zen masters! Thank you for a remarkable meditation that will accompany me into the weekend. Hugs and more hugs. Stay safe.

  3. Wonderful quotes – worthy of a smile! And so are the adorable froggies. I love it when people are creative. As long as they’re not in a good mood. Although, I can’t hang out with happy people these days anyway… πŸ™‚

  4. That frog got things right… β€œthe best way to find happiness is to stop looking so hard.”….exactly, and enjoy the simple pleasures in life…. The sun’s shining here….
