One Word Sunday: Where?

If it weren’t for the Coronavirus scare around the world, this is where hubby and I would be headed right now. A daily walk along the beach, checking out my favourite lighthouse along the way.

Having our daughter come to stay with us in a beach-side apartment and seeing my darling sister almost every day.

I wonder when it will be possible and safe to travel again? I know the saying, “East, West, home is best,” but it’s also nice to have a change of scenery.

Wishing you all a perfect Sunday as you’re maybe also dreaming of what you’d rather be doing.

  1. What a great holiday that would have been! I know that beautiful part of the world, and catching up with your family in such a relaxing and beautiful place would have been wonderful… cross fingers you can get there one day in the not too distant future.

  2. That wanderlust is all the incentive we need to ensure we stay safe now so that we can explore new places and revisit old favourites when it’s safe again “out there”

  3. Ah, Sylvia – “where” is a profound word for our current reality, for it asks the questions of where we are and where we want to be. A lighthouse is a profound symbol of hope, of courage, of determination. In the darkest hour, we look for the light. And you are one of those lights in my life. Hugs! “A lighthouse doesn’t save the ships; it doesn’t go out and rescue them, it’s just this pillar that helps to guide people home.” Lea Michele

  4. I’m glad you at least have the beautiful photos and fond memories. You’ll be traveling soon. Our nation wasn’t built to stay in isolation for ever. I love that lighthouse! ❤

  5. oh i remember this beautiful lighthouse! can’t wait to travel again, Sylvia. and of course i want to be by the sea! love the video song 🙂 happy Sunday! 🥰
