Amun and Isis our resident Egyptian geese, stand looking at the dreamy reflections across the pond.
I wonder if like me, they’re dreaming of ‘Far away places with strange sounding names.’

Hope your Sunday is going well. It’s pouring with rain here in Florida, so we missed our usual morning walk.

I can imagine them both soaring somewhere…it would be great if they can actually share their travel adventures with us π
Yes, it would. π

One fine day, Lisa. π
The ducks look a bit wistful…no doubt longing for far off places indeed!
Thanks, Gerrie. I wondered what they were thinking. π
Beautiful geese
They are, Lisa. π
Echt een plekje om tot rust te komen
Thanks, Marylou. The geese seem to really like it there. π
What beautiful markings on the geese, Sylvia. You can send some of that rain to the west coast, please. π
They really are so pretty, Jane. I would happily send you some of our rain if it were at all possible. π
They do look contemplative. We’ve had our first wintery blast and have been staying in even more than usual.
Yes they do, Carol. I can’t imagine a wintry blast, sitting here in hot and humid Florida. π―
It was icy, but it only lasted a couple of days and now we’re back to our beautiful temperate climate late autumn days of warm sunshine and cold nights. That works for me. π
It is always wonderful to come to your βplaceβ and feel the respite of nature and gentle conversation. Thank you for welcoming us all to a space that allows us to have beautiful dreams.
Thank you for always visiting, dear Rebecca. Nature does hold a conversation with us, albeit wordless. π€
Well, itβs not raining here, but quite breezy… Interesting dreamy reflections you have found
Thanks, Sue. We did need the rain. Breeze, I can have any day here. π
We need rain…
Iβll send you some of ours. βοΈπ¦

They are so cute. And they probably like the rain. π
They are a cute pair and we almost always see them when we’re out walking. π
I saw all of the rain you’re getting, Sylvia. I’m sure the ducks and geese are loving it though. Great photo! β€
Thanks, Jill. We really do need some decent rain, so I’m not complaining and neither are the birds. π xx
Just got done watching our church service from Illinois as we obviously haven’t been able to look for a new church here. Now time to decide what to do…or to dream about what I’d like to do (which would certainly include those places you reference and also those with names I know well.)

Thanks, Janet. “If you can dream it, you can do it” …………..well, eventually. π
lovely dreamy reflections, Sylvia. liked Bing Crosby’s song; wondering when we can travel again. i hope soon π π
Thanks so much, Lola. Glad you enjoyed the dreamy song too. π xx
They are beautiful! I have never seen an Egyptian goose before. Have a wonderful Sunday!
Thanks, Lavinia. Their markings are really lovely. I wish I could have got closer for the photo. π
Oh… you may have missed your morning walk but you can dream looking at this dreamy photo! I’m joining in!
