On our morning walk, Muriel Muscovy approached me with that “Do you have any treats for me?” look on her face. Sad to say, all I had in my pocket was a tissue.
I invited her to come join the ducks under my bird feeder, where there are always lots of seeds scattered in the grass.
She might even meet Mr Blue Jay who is also a frequent visitor, The more the merrier.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend, as peaceful as the wildlife in my backyard.
Nice group of feathered friends you have calling on you. 🙂
Thanks, Judy. I love them all. 🙂
Ah, Sylvia, love your peaceful neighbors! Happy Monday and Happy June! 🙂 xoxoxoxoxo
Thank you, dear Marina. 🥰🤗

I think I should get a bird feeder.
You’d be surprised show many birds would come and dine. Word soon gets around. 😃
I’d like that I think.. 😉
Glad your birds are getting a healthy breakfast! 😀
They don’t go hungry, Nancy. 🙂
Hope you are having a good weekend!
Thanks, Ute. Yes, we are. 🙂
Such cute ducks.
Thanks, Tim. Their names are Danny and Daisy. 🙂
Aren’t your blue jays a little ‘territorial’? Ours certainly are! They can get mean too!
Yes they are quite possessive of the bird feeder, but often get chased away by the woodpecker.
Oh my gosh, the woodpeckers want to ‘own’
the place.
Oh yes, he thinks the bird feeder is his personal property. 😀
Happy birds.Place enough to make a party
Thanks, Marylou. It’s always party time for our birds. 🙂
So that’s what a blue jay looks like. We went to a Toronto Blue Jays baseball game when we were in Toronto!
They are quite feisty and noisy birds, so maybe the Toronto Blue Jays are well-named. 🙂
They won the game we went to see.
Isn’t it lovely to have wildlife around during these Lockdown days… our birds keep us amused every day. Have a great weekend Sylvia..
Yes it is, Gerrie. Thanks so much.
You turned a sad face into song – you always make things better, Sylvia. The first thing that came to mind was:
Hey Jude, don’t make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better…
Thanks for your lovely comment, Rebecca. We always need to look on the bright side, don’t we? 🤗
Yes! Yes!! Yes!!!
I saw my first Muscovy duck recently at the Preserve. They’re interesting looking, aren’t they? You have a wonderful weekend as well.
janet
They certainly are, Janet; the males even more so than the females. 😃
No doubt the ducks were enjoying all of the rain you had. Have a great weekend! ❤
Thanks, Jill. Yes, I’m sure they were. ❤️
Adore all of your animal friends!
Thanks so much, Resa.
