  1. I love early morning walks on the beach but don’t get to do it very often. Our favorite beach is a State Park and they don’t open until 8am. I like earlier than that. Gorgeous photo! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. During these times we all hold precious memories of easier travel times close in our heart. Your sunrise a hopeful beacon. My only sibling lives in California. Hard to be apart isn’t it?

  4. Sylvia, I haven’t heard from you in a while, and I noticed that we are not friends on Facebook anymore. Did Facebook mess us up or have I offended you in some way? I’ve missed seeing your beautiful posts. ๐Ÿ™‚ Email me, tchistorygal@gmail.com. I feel badly. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

  5. Oh Sylvia, Iโ€™m with you on missing travel, especially during family gatherings. I keep thinking of your Motherโ€™s thought – โ€œthis too shall passโ€ and it gives me courage to know that life will continue to evolve, that we are in this together, that the sun will shine and we will continue to feel itโ€™s warmth. Sending many hugs and lots of love!

    • Yes, itโ€™s very important to stay positive, isnโ€™t it? Iโ€™m sure my mom would have agreed with Chrisโ€™s mother, who on our Sunday phone call, said, โ€œItโ€™s a funny old world weโ€™re living in, but thereโ€™s nothing we can do about it except carry on and make the best of things.โ€ Sheโ€™s lived through so much in her 107 years, so has more than earned the right to philosophize. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  6. Such a lovely beach, I hope you manage to get there soon, I am waiting for the go-ahead to Australia, but I’m not planning on anything yet. I reckon it will be at least 2022.
