Debbie’s fun theme this Sunday, ‘Whatchamacallit’, brought to mind something I saw when strolling around the medina of Fez in Morocco. The only form of transport allowed in the busy market are donkeys and mules, so to keep the ground clean and hazard-free for us humans, the animals are required to wear a ‘Whatchamacallit’ on their hindquarters. Can you think of a better name for it?
Wishing you all a happy Sunday wherever you may be.

Not at all what I was expecting after reading the title! 😳 🤔 😲
Well, one has to learn to expect the unexpected. 😅

Haha……if I had a horse, I’d buy one. Reminds me of my great-uncle in England. He used to watch for the rag-and -bone man’s horse and cart passing down their street and go out with a shovel to collect the ‘manure’ for his garden. 🤣
There’s a memory!
That’s for sure. So long ago now.

A very handy whatchamacallit 🙂
Thanks, Debbie. I thought so too. 😃
It was a while back when Monaco was at the top of my ‘curios places to travel list’.
Never did make it so seeing any photos or hearing anything about it is really great!
Thanks, Eddie. Our trip combined Spain, Morocco and Portugal. It was wonderful.
Spain and Portugal too?
How wonderfully fortunate you are.
MOL…💗Thank you for coming to my Birthday-Pawty, Sylvia. You made our day unforgettable. Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you🐾😽💞
You’re so welcome, Binky and Granny. xxx 🙂
Awwww … he looks uncomfortable weaing that and all of the boxes too.
I guess they have to use something to transport items. Great photo …
Be Safe … Issy 😎
Thanks, Izzy. Those donkeys work very long hours. It’s not much of a life, poor creatures.
Many 3rd world countries have to use their farm animals for labor. Somehow, the work has to get done. I’m sure he’s fed well or, at least, I hope so.
Whatchamacallit. Ha! LOVE that! I still remember the candy bar that used to be called that. It was so good.
Thanks, TG. didn’t know about the candy bar. 🤣
That really made me smile!
I’m so glad it did, Aletta. 😃
😅😁💕
Poor creatures…. Funny word though and no I can’t think of a better name! 😉
xoxoxo
Yes, I agree with you, Marina. 🤗

A nappy?
So simple. 😅

Haha, that is great, what a great idea to keep the ground clean. Let’s hope people keep it clean too and don’t litter there. Have a great week!
Thanks, Ute. It did seem litter-free too. 😃
No, I can’t think of a better choice. Rear bumper cleaner? 🙂
janet
What a great idea. I wouldn’t like to have the job of emptying and cleaning this contraption at the end of the day.
Eew……..me neither, Carol 😀
Oh my!! I admire the ingenuity of this Whatchamacallit. Necessity is the mother of invention. How I love to travel with you, Sylvia!
Thanks, Rebecca. I’m sure you would be an ideal and fun traveling companion. 🤗
Or catchamacallit.
🤣👏🏻
I think that’s a pretty good name. Lavinia’s name came to my mind too. 🙂
Thanks, Jill. It does have a good rhythm to it. 😅
hahaha good name.. Have never seen a watchamacallit like that before
I hope its a disposable one. 😅
Save the planet, reusable..More dogs should have one.. save on the poop scoop..
If only there were more whatchamacallits in life! 😉
Exactly so, Lynette. 😃
very interesting, Sylvia! 🙂
Thanks, Lola. 🥰
Donkey diapers! 🙂
Hmm……that works. 😅
We saw lots of donkeys in Morocco, but never saw this! How interesting!
Thanks, Rusha. I’m sure it must have caught on eventually.
