Feathers On Friday: Is It A Bird, Is It A Plane?

It’s Mr. GBH heading for home after a good day’s fishing.

It’s been a good week and on Wednesday, hubby and I were fortunate enough to receive our first Covid19 vaccinations. Our second ones are scheduled for early March, so now I feel much more relaxed about the family coming to visit in early April. Wishing you all a relaxing but fruitful weekend.

  1. That is lovely to hear you family is visiting come April. So exciting for you. Hope you all get to spend quality time together. Mr GBH certainly looks majestic up there, home for the weekend. Hope you enjoy your weekend, Sylvia πŸ™‚

  2. Congratulations on your first vaccination – I hope travel restrictions are relaxed by April and that the virus is under control, wouldn’t that be lovely.

I’m looking forward to being able to invite family inside my home, even though they live just ten minutes away in all directions, it seems a long long time since we were able to do that. πŸ™‚

  3. I recognize that flying shape. πŸ™‚ Lucky you, getting your vaccinations. I’ve been trying and trying to schedule some for my parents (in their early 90’s) but can’t find any open time slots anywhere. Sigh. We’d like to get ours too, but there are so many older people in Arizona, that I think it’s going to take a long time and of course there simply isn’t enough vaccine.

    • Thanks, Janet. I’m sure as more vaccine becomes available, you’ll soon be able to get appointments for your parents. It took quite a few tries before hubby managed to schedule our vaccine appointments at our local Publix. I know people who have travelled more than a hundred miles to get theirs. 😳

  4. Homecoming – the best feeling in the world. Isn’t it wonderful to know that there are many people working together to overcome this pandemic!!! So happy for you. Sending hugs!!!

  5. Sylvia I am so happy to hear you received your first vaccination and the other scheduled. It will indeed make the visit much safer and relaxed. My Mom in law has had her first dose and I will be so relieved when my Mom has hers as well.
