This beach is definitely “to die for” but his partner, busy on her cell phone hasn’t even noticed. I hope he was only playing dead.

Happy weekend to you all.
Grandpa Igasho shows off his new orange and black outfit. “What do you think of my Halloween costume? I thought I’d better grab it quick before they were all sold out.”
This is my contribution to Debbie’s ‘Six Word Saturday’ challenge.
I hope you’re all having a great weekend.
Here are my ‘Six Word Saturday’ photos.
Thursday: The beach was full of holidaymakers enjoying the warm winter weather.
Friday: Quite a different story.
Thursday: Sun Umbrellas were out in force.
Friday: Looks like a different sort of brolly will be needed.
We got quite wet on our way back to the apartment yesterday, but today is dry and sunny.
Tomorrow, I’ll be seeing my sister for the first time in over a year.
Wishing you all a perfectly relaxing weekend.
We’ve been having lots of rain here in Florida. The damp conditions seem to deter some of the wildlife from showing up in our backyard, but I was amused to see these two very different creatures standing out there together as if in silent protest.
Hope your weekend isn’t as wet as ours. Every cloud has a silver lining though, as hubby has decided to paint out the garage.

Some may say that Valentines’ Day is ‘for the birds’, but Mr. GBH takes his courtship very seriously as he builds his not-so–little love nest.
This is my entry for Debbie’s ‘Six Word Saturday‘.
Wishing you all a relaxing weekend.
Anatole is the largest of our resident Anole lizards. He lives inside our screen room and although he’s cute and very well-behaved, is never allowed into the house. He seems quite content to peer at us through the glass doors and occasionally goes over to chat to the fish in our pond; but they are a story for another day,
Wishing you all a splendid and relaxing weekend.
I’ve recently seen a couple of beautiful smaller birds in our backyard, but they never stay long enough for me to get a photo or to identify them, so I had the brilliant idea of buying a birdfeeder and a bag of seeds. Yay me!
Of course not much escapes Sammy’s attention,
and the birds watching from a distance, don’t even get a look in.
Sammy also brought some of his mates along to share in the feast, and generously allowed them to have the ones which fell on the ground.
and whilst one stood guard,
another one, wearing the fiercest look he could muster, was all set to chase off the enemy.
The Iggy family sunning themselves on the rocks, just looked on in amazement wondering what all the fuss was about. “Seeds? Who on earth wants to eat bird seed?”
