Here’s a sweet couple I found sitting on a bench at the garden nursery near to my sister’s house in South Africa.
To see more benches with someone or something on them, visit Jude’s blog.
Have a great weekend. It’s really busy here now, as all our ‘snowbird’ friends who’ve been up north for the summer, are arriving back in Florida to escape the cold. Lots of social activities to look forward to.
Made me smile! 😀
Me too, RoSy. 🙂

How cute they are😀
Thanks, Inger. 🙂
This looks like a fun place to sit down and you would find calm, pleasant company with this couple, too. No arguments or loud discussions. 🙂 🙂
Very true, Robin. They don’t look like the argumentative type. 🙂
How very sweet. Wish I had them in my yard. They would bring a smile each time I saw them.
Yes, I wouldn’t mind them in my front porch. 🙂
So adorable! Your beautiful picture makes me smile 😀
Thanks so much, Helen. 🙂
That is so cute! Please have a good weekend too.
Thanks so much, YC. 🙂
That is such a cute ornament! Our friends who are snowbirds are all getting organized for trips south. We try to smile and not be too envious. 🙂
Hahaha Yes, we get quite a lot of Canadians suddenly appear at our social club. 🙂 We know who they are because they’re all speaking French.
They must be coming from Quebec which makes sense of course.
Cute, Sylvia. Hope you have something fun planned for the weekend with the snowbirds. Enjoy!
Thanks, Geralyn. Does ‘Boot Camp’ tomorrow morning count as a fun activity? 🙂
Absolutely! 🙂
Ahh…so sweet, love them! Looking forward to seeing all your bird pics! You have a lovely weekend too Sylvia 🙂 xx
Haha No Sherri……snowbirds is what we call the people who come down here to escape the cold weather up north. 😃
Oh no!!!! Haha…I got that so wrong didn’t I!! I had images of the sky full of actual birds heading to Florida from colder parts and filling your lake! Lol, I’ll be laughing about that all night…and you can forget what I said about the photos, haha!!! 😀 😀 😀
Well there will be birds coming down too, so I’ll probably get some photos of them too. 😘
Okay…I’ll take those 😀
A very good take on the bench of the month! Love this!
Thanks, Torrie. 🙂

Hahaha. Yes, I thought so too, Lisa. 🙂
For me, benches are the symbol for friendship. ❤️❤️❤️

Ah, thank you Sylvia. These little benches seem popular in SA. Wish I had somewhere warm to move to during the winter, I like the idea of being a ‘snowbird’ 😀
Hehehe. Yes, and I need somewhere cooler to move to in the heat and humidity of the Florida summer.I’m thinking of spending some time in Cornwall again next year.
OOOH, that would be nice – hopefully I will be there then [goes away to touch some wood]
Maybe a wooden bench. 😕
Haven’t got one of those. Yet.
