This gorgeously flamboyant Flame Tree really brightened our morning walk today. I think all the rain we’ve been having has really done it some good.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

Great photo.. flames trees will blind the weary driver (a quote for all the hard core Aussies)
That tree is amazing in structure let alone the striking color against the bright green grass. I probably would have wanted a chair to just sit a spell and admire it. Nice.
Ho absolutely gorgeous. I remember those from another time in life.
Thanks, Lulu. 😃
Oh wow that is stunning.. I love it when the trees in musgrave look similar to this.. 😉
I remember that, Lisa. Now I just need to be able to visit again. 🙏🏻
Absolutely wonderful!
Thanks, Ute. 🙂
Love your shot of the Flame Tree. Did you know . . .
The Flame Tree is also called Royal Poinciana, fire tree or flamboyant tree. It is a tropical tree species from the legume family which produces large, fiery red or golden flowers that blossom from spring through summer.
Thanks for the extra info, Nancy. They really are flamboyant trees. 🙂
Flamboyant and fabulous!
Beautiful picture.
The strong saturation really enhances it.
What a beauty, and the grass is so green.
Ah the lovely flame tree. These grow here in Mexico as well but I don’t think they are flowering right now… if they are I would for sure have noticed them. It is hard not to they are so bright and gorgeous.

We don’t have these in the north, so thank you! Flowering shrubs and trees are such a joy. Looking forward to the flowering linden trees in the neighborhood. Sooooooo fragrant. Have a wonderful weekend yourself 🙂
Thanks, Mary Jo. Linden trees are so beautiful too and look as though they’ve absorbed so much sunshine into their flowers. I believe that they live to a great age.
