It’s always exciting to see who I can spy through my bathroom window.
Beaky the white ibis.
Tommy the red-bellied turtle.
Jack the Blue Jay.
Picus the Red-bellied Woodpecker.
Wishing you all a very happy Wednesday.

Ah, that window!!!!! 🙂 xoxoxo
It never ceases to delight me. 🙂 xx
Not just you! 😘😍
Great pictures! I’m jealous, I always wait too long and then the animals have crawled/flown away!
I was lucky that Sammy seemed to trust me. The birds, not so much. 🙂
Such wonderful critters in your own backyard. ❤
I love them all. 🙂
Looking for extra money? I think you could rent out your bathroom window. 🙂 Gorgeous friends you have there.
Thanks for the laugh, Judy. Always good to have one at breakfast. It’s a great start to the day. 🤣
Managed to check in before the next Wednesday rolled around. Love your beautiful birds and turtle. Wishing I could do a better job of keeping up! 😊
Good to see you, Gunta. I’m also falling way behind. Life gets in the way. 😅
Especially now that spring seems to have sprung around here. I think the trees and shrubs are awakening a bit early.
What a beautiful view out of your view! I especially like the colorful woodpecker!
Beautiful images, I particularly like the Ibis, a favourite of mine.
Thanks, Cathy. We get gangs of Ibis around here. 😃
Bathroom with a view. Kitchen with a view… A National Park garden… Well done
Thanks, Brian. 😃
Great photos from your bathroom and lovely to get such close-ups of the birds. The woodpecker has a very fine red head!
Thanks so much, Gerrie. 😘
I love your bathroom ‘porthole’ to nature! Awesome shots, Sylvia! ❤
Thanks, Donna. 😘
With all those treasures just from your bathroom window it would seem that you
could spend a good deal of time there. Great photos Sylvia
Thanks, Eddie. It’s very useful to have such a clear view of my wild neighbors. 😃
It really is Sylvia
I love turtles! ❤
They’re such cute creatures, Jill. ❤
Picus the Red-bellied Woodpecker is really beautiful!
Yes he is. Thanks, Aletta. 😘
Wow that is quite the bathroom view with a lot of unique sightings. Is this all part of your property, with the pond and all? Lovely
Thanks, Peta. Many communities in Florida have such a lake/canal which snakes around the the houses. We’re very fortunate to have an uninterrupted view of the water and trees from our backyard. That’s the main reason we bought the house even though it needed a total renovation. https://anotherday2paradise.wordpress.com/2014/09/27/sunday-stills-abandoned-house-the-full-catastrophe/comment-page-1/#comments
Ooh, these are terrific photos. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much, Laura. 🙂
There’s more activity around your bathroom than at a waterhole in the savanna, Sylvia! 😀
You could be right, Dries. We don’t get elephants and hippos though. 🙂
Very nice views from your bathroom and very nice shots of them. Now, I am trying imagine how your bathroom is designed.
Thanks so much, YC. My bathroom has a very large window which doesn’t open. There’s a big round tub just under the window, so I can sit and look out from there. When I’m standing at my washbasin I can see the outside reflected in my mirror, so I’m alerted to any wildlife activity going on outside. I do lower the blind when the garden service comes around on a Monday. 😅
I’d be hanging around in the bathroom all the time, Sylvia. 🙂
janet
I do spend quite a lot of time in there just looking out of the window. 🤣
😄😄
The best view obviously.. 😉
Absolutely, Lisa. 😅
Can I come use your bathroom tomorrow? You have a beautiful view and your shots are equally eye catching.
Thanks, ZL. Any time you’re passing, you’re welcome to drop in and use my bathroom. 😘
Nature up close, Sylvia! Beautiful portraits – favorite is the woodpecker! Nice outfit.
Thanks so much, Ann Christine. Yes, I love his red chapeau. 😃
Ah, that bathroom window, Sylvia!!!!! You always get the best visitors!!!! xoxoxo
Thanks, dear Marina. Yes, there’s always something to see out there. 🙂 xxx
🤗😘🤗
So gorgeous. I love them all, but the jay is my favourite. We occasionally see one in our garden too.
They are beautiful birds. I love the colours.
Thank you – happy Wednesday to you too. 🙂
I love the blue jays – they are loud and brash but I like that about them. 🙂
Me too, Lynette. They are quite fearless and very vocal about making their demands known. 😀
It is always exciting to see what your neighbours are up to, Sylvia. So many stories that arrive in your back yard that can been seen through your bathroom window. Hugs!
Thanks, Rebecca. Every day is exciting here. 🤗
What a pretty chap the woodpecker is, Ad! I’ve never seen one in nature 🙂 🙂
Thanks, Jo. I’m happy he’s a regular visitor to our bird feeder. 😃
Magnifcent photos
Thanks, Marylou.
Love your bathroom ‘Ark’, Sylvia.
Thanks so much, Tish. 😅
Great captures Sylvia ! I’ve found Jays incredibly camera shy.. by the time I’ve lifted camera to eye there’s usually nothing to be seen in the viewfinder Lol except an empty branch 😦
Red bellied Woodpecker is keeping it hidden 😉
Happy Wednesday or Windsday as Piglet said to Pooh in 100 acre wood . It’s calm here at the moment but Dennis is on his way 🌬☔ …
Yes, the blue jays are very skittish but at least I don’t spook them when I shoot them through glass. 😃 The red-bellied woodpecker doesn’t really live up to his name. He should be renamed ‘Redcap’.
Pragtig soos altyd
Thanks so much, Tina. 😘
Those are beautiful portraits, Silvia.
Thanks, Lavinia. 🙂
Lovely pics
Thanks, Derrick. 🙂
